A neighbor gave this to me a couple of years ago because he thought it was funny that I was using a 13 hp Honda hydrostatic snowblower where we usually get only a few inches of snow. That Honda made sense for the big Ohio snowfalls where we routinely dealt with feet of snow; it was laughably overbuilt for our lighter clearing jobs. This little Earthwise has been a very useful alternative. It clears paths, walkways and small driveway areas well, especially with lighter snow. For my usual clearing, one charge has been enough, and I have never run the battery all the way down. It can also move heavier snow if you take your time and use smaller passes. That is my experience, not a measured runtime or remaining battery-capacity guarantee; results depend on snow and conditions. 16-inch clearing width, cordless 40V brushless motor, rear transport wheels and an adjustable support handle. The manual direction control sends snow left, straight ahead or right. Start with the safety button and trigger. I bring the battery indoors after use and charge it before the next job. We bought a snow-brush attachment for our STIHL MM55 gas unit and want to try that this winter, so this one is ready for a new owner.
