Here is an extremely rare two speed transmission that came of of a 1979 Bobcat T5-2-20 snowblower. It is in good structural condition. This fits other Bob cat and Roto-hoe models as well, so please see the i. 17 for your application. This transmission still worked well on the blower. The dogs are not worn out and the reverse snaps in cleanly. The bearings all turn smoothly and tight showing normal wear. This unit is built so strongly (40 + lbs) that it strongly serves as a chassis for these tractor-like blowers. Most of these are now badly rusted and worse–locked up! This one shows some typical weathering they were prone to, but I didn’t see any rust or corrosion in the tranny box–well sealed and greased to the max! The compound shaft did loose it’s snap ring at one time, so a new one should be fitted prior to use. Four inspection cover mounting fasteners are included. This came off of a Colorado snowblower and brutal rust isn’t a big problem here in the dry high desert air. This is a hard to find part anymore and even more difficult to find in usable shape. Great for spare tranny parts too. Keep that ol’ Cat throwing snow over the barn! Thoroughly clean and lube prior to use. Please look at the pictures. Ask any questions that you might have.
