Clearing width of the Storm 2600. The 208cc Troy-Bilt engine with electric start capability, and a self-propelled drive system help make the job easy. Just One Hand operation allows adjustment of the chute controls without disengaging the drive, including a quick change to the snow discharge height from the dashboard with the remote pitch control lever. The rugged, 12 in. Serrated steel augers are designed to quickly handle up to 12 in. Clearing width and 20 in. Intake height powers through up to 12 in. Of snow and designed to throw up to 40 ft. Of snow, Results may vary depending on weather and snow conditions. Remote pitch control lever allows the operator to change the height of snow discharge from the dashboard. This one is a survivor that is in good condition for it’s age! And a good piece of John Deere history to a collector. This machine was built by Jacobson, it is a 2cycle 32.1 mix, the electric start still works. I used this machine as a antique engine display unit in shows and to my knowledge has not been put in service blowing snow in about 20 yrs. It does have a small crack in one of the bolt holes in the plastic on the cover (see picture). It does start up and run when you shoot gas in it, but should have new gaskets and seals put in the carburetor if to be put back in service, especially not being used in 2 decades. The items description is listed to my knowledge and the best of my ability. All sales are final. What you see in the picture of the machine is what you wil receive.
