This is a great snowthrower for you John Deer tractor. I remember they had to adjust the boss on the lift handle to make it work for my 160 tractor. It was in good working order when I took it off a few years ago and comes complete with chains and the operating manual. I need room in my garage where it has been stored so I listed at a low price to move fast. The support on the snowthrower was modified to fit the 160 tractor but can be changed back for the original equipment. John Deere 46 Thrower. This is a 46 snow thrower that came off a X485. Has the drive shaft for the X4 and X700 series 2 wheel drive tractors. The hitch looks like it was off a 400 series which does work on the X series. The mounting part that bolts to the frame and supports the driveshaft up is also with it. The 2 hoses that don’t have the elbows in them should have the elbow installed so they fit better to the valve. If you put it on a 400 series you’ll need to remove the elbows.. Will fit the 400 series and the 4×4 tractors too but you will need a new long drive shaft. I t comes as you see it. Please if you h ave questions feel free to ask. What you see is what you get. Nothing more and nothing less. All parts are listed as used. Some are parts removed from new to install other kits. These are all parts left over from a warehouse move. I DO NOT calculate it.
