Got it a month ago. Very easy to start and the handle to move the chute is outstanding. Well designed with a great electric start. I like not having to mix gas and 2cycle engine oil since this has a 4 stoke engine. To date this has been a solid machine. Winter is just starting so we’ll have to see how it goes. I bought my Toro 721 4 years ago and it has performed! I clear snow for my entire block in the city which is about 4 km (2.5 miles) each time so my snowblower has done about 160km (99 miles) and I’ve never had an issue nor had to do anything with it except change the oil and the paddles. The engine starts up and it’s so easy I’ve never had to use the electric start option. My only complaint is how on city streets the scraper bar catches on the sidewalk where it has lifted up. It jerks really hard but I don’t think there is anything I can do about that. The new model has a different system so maybe that would be better? Only used a few times so hopefully lasts long time. For 20 yrs, I have always had a 2 stage snow blower, with a serrated ice auger, because I live on a busy street, and the plows throw a heavy salt/brine mix, from the road, over my sidewalk when they pass, so even if the snow is fluffy, the sidewalk snow is nasty. I had reservations when bought this snowblower to replace my 2 stage, but I’m a believer now. This thing went through an 8 snowfall, that even included freezing rain, like it was nothing.
