Model 247.888550 Track Drive 28-inch 9-HP Snow Blower. This model has an electric start system and an easy pull type starting system. The specialized cord for electric starting is merely a short 3-prong extension cord. It’s a real great thing to have that electric starter on frigid mornings when you need to hurry and clear your driveway before going to work! The track drive system is rare and remarkable! If you use it once, you’ll just laugh at any personal snow removal equipment with tires. The tracks have 3-modes; heavy front downforce, floating front downforce, and raised front cutting edge. It’s E-Z Steer system makes fine turning control merely a matter of gentile squeezes of the finger. Their’s a turning brake for each individual track as a trigger switch on the bottom of the control handles. A pull of a trigger on the same side as the track stops it’s motion and has the machine effortlessly turning 180-degrees “on a dime” ready for the next cut. I’ve used mine for many years in the Williamsville NY area and it’s only signs of wear are the front cutting edge and the side skid plates. This is a used Craftsman Tractor snowblower attachment 42′ x 21′ 2 stage unit that fits select Husqvarna and Craftsman Lawn tractors. Manual and parts to fit different tractors are includes as well as chains and rear platform and weight filled with sand. One set of chains fit 23×10 5×12 tires and a second set that fit a smaller size tire. Not sure the size because I don’t have that mower anymore. Here is a link to a fit chart. This heavy-duty snow thrower has the moving power of a two-stage, in the convenient and compact size of a single-stage. The Bolens 22″ two-stage snow thrower features a 179cc PowerMore OHV 4-cycle engine to eliminate the need for mixing gas and oil, and a self-propelled drive system which is coupled with 10″ x 4 snow hog tires to help power through pesky drifts. Designed to operate on both smooth and gravel surfaces, this unit is ideal for medium sized driveways, walkways, and patios. This snow blower weighs 105lbs. This snow blower does not have an electric start. Used for 2 winters on my paved driveway. I will deliver for free within 1 mile of any I-95 or Merritt parkway exit between Rye NY and New Haven CT, other wise you need to pick it up or meet me at an exit. Shaft drive from standard 2,500 rpm front PTO on the Honda tractor. Manufactured and supplied to Honda by AGRO-TEC/RAD. Refurbishment done on entire unit. Taken apart, all parts inspected and replaced as needed. Many replacement nuts, bolts and washers as needed. New shear pins all around with extra new bolt included. Gearbox new oil, new input shaft bearing and lock collar. Auger shafts cleaned and re-greased, chain cleaned and greased. All surfaces cleaned of any surface rust, re-primed and painted (original Honda OEM red color). All new safety /warning stickers and decals. Has the hard to find chute crank and the tractor support rotation handle (no longer available from Honda). Also includes the entire PTO driveshaft and owners manual. Driveshaft turns smoothly, no binding. Snow chute turns easily using crank handle. Ready to attach to your Honda tractor (fits some other models, please check to confirm). You will need a Honda QH5000 quick hitch adapter to attached to your tractor (I no longer have mine). I encourage you to come and look at it personally before purchasing.
