This listing is for a USED Tecumseh HMSK80 8HP Short Block. This is in good overall condition. This was removed from a running snowblower. The cylinder walls are in good shape. The issue is I broke a bolt pulling the head to show the cylinder walls. It is seen in the photo’s. Look closely at each photo and compare.

This listing is for a USED Tecumseh HMSK80 8HP Short Block. This is in good overall condition. This was removed from a running snowblower. The cylinder walls are in good shape. No heavy scratches or excessive wear marks. The head will need to be re torqued and will need a new head gasket more than likely. There is no damaged threads. The crank is good. No odd sounds when it was running and did not smoke. Cylinder walls have been coated with oil to prevent corrosion. Look closely at each photo and compare.

This is a Tecumseh HMSK80, 90, 100 and even fits the 11hp and some other 8+ hp engines. Has the provision for Electric Starter, with teeth on the ring gear. The flywheel is part number 611093, and this kit includes a 611111 18w alternator kit. Perfect for running a headlight, and can even power heated grips, though it’s a tad weak for that.
