This Tecumseh HMSK80 snowblower engine is a reliable and powerful option for your replacement needs. It comes with an electric starter 120v. It has an alternator so you can hook up a light. Engine has brand need carburetor and will fire right up. Engine has 1 PTO shaft 2 3/4 long and is tapped and threaded.
Nice dual shaft engine removed from a Cub Cadet… HMSK85is the actual model… Electric starter included, probably will work with a switch…. Pulleys also included, actually everything on the motor is included… Almost forgot, 2 broken off mounting bolts in the front of engine… As seen in photo..

Tecumseh HMSK80 engine short block dual shaft camshaft PTO 8hp, 1 Shaft. Does have broken bolt to hold top of muffler on. No effect on the engine.
This is a Tecumseh HMSK80, 90, 100 and even fits the 11hp and some other 8+ hp engines. Has the provision for Electric Starter, with teeth on the ring gear. The flywheel is part number 611093, and this kit includes a 611111 18w alternator kit. Perfect for running a headlight, and can even power heated grips, though it’s a tad weak for that. If you live outside of the continental USA your order will be cancelled.
Engine starts and runs good. Carburetor was dripping gas. Might need carburetor repaired or cleaned. Had it running yesterday. Came off a mtd 8 24 snow blower.
