Already bought a flexible hose funnel kit to add oil, appears the design was a rushed afterthought. And two separate, different sized containers to fill the oil? C’mon Toro, you are better than this. Performed well and easy to use. Have only used once this season. Light and easy to maneuver but packs a real punch in the snow. It is easy to start with the pull cord, but also has an electric start option. It throws the snow really well for a single-stage model. With a few inches of snow, the auger helps propel the wheels forward (otherwise, this model is not self-propelled, with multiple forward or reverse speeds). Adding oil is a bit of a challenge because of the angle and location of the fill-hole. I’m getting around this by using a long-neck funnel. So far, I’ve used it on a 2 inch heavy, wet accumulation of snow and a 7-8 inch accumulation of light, fluffy snow. We upgraded from an old 99cc Toro to the power-packed 821 QZE with 252cc.
