Here is a vintage Ariens cast iron auger gearbox with impeller from and early 10M 5HP 24 blower. These were the first vintage and have a 7/8″ auger shaft threaded at the ends which is very hard to find and was later replaced with a 1″ shaft. This has a 12″ impeller, 7/8″ auger shaft and 3/4 impeller shaft that is keyed. Spins smoothly however impeller blades are bent but can be straightened.
