This is a new Ariens snowblower gearbox assembly part number 52423000. This is a cast iron gearbox, but it does replace a number of the aluminum gearboxes. The auger shaft is about 1″ in diameter and they are around 10 1/4″ long on each side. The input shaft is about 3/4 in diameter. It fits a variety of different 24 inch models and replaces the following part numbers. 02423500 02428000 52401700 52407300 52403000 53208900 62407700 52408100 52402100 52422800.
