I don’t know how often the oil was changed in this but the fact that it starts in the first pull May indicate that it was changed often. I did change it soon after I brought it home, on the first day I brought it home. I put some Marine formula Sta-Bil in the gas tank. And I took a picture of the inside of the gas tank as well. It is not new and show signs of use and age but the place I bought it from appear to be a very well-kept facility and likely they kept this indoors. I have not cleaned it. I will keep it stored indoors as well or in my garage. Please use the pictures to help determine the condition of this item. Model name / number: 47. Size / dimensions: 47x47x47. 47 john Deere snowblower housing and turret. I kept this housing because the sides were straight, this unit appears to have 2 (yes double) cutting edges. And the round barrel base is in good condition. This is rare to find all these features in good shape. Most blowers of this style are ruined by people blowing rocks and cement blocks thru the barrel. The lower holes where the arms mount are stretched out somewhat.. Can either use them as is with some extra washers, spacers or bolts or you can press them back to original position. This housing was worth saving. 47 and you have wrecked it blowing rocks or such.. Then this may be for you.
