We hardly had any snow that year, so the snowblower was put away in our garage. Unbeknownst to us, we did not know that we needed to let the’regular’ gasoline run dry. The following year, when we went to start the engine, we could not get it to start. “Regular” Gasoline has Ethanol which causes havoc to engines; clogging them up and can even deteriorate the tubes that carry the gasoline to the engine. We recently learned that because the gasoline was not drained from the tank, the ETHENOL in the’Regular’ gasoline caused the tiny hole to clog. We had the machine serviced and made sure that every element was looked at thoroughly so the machine ran as perfectly as it looked, and so the next owner would have the machine in perfect running condition. We also learned not to use ANYTHING OTHER THAN TRUE-FUEL because it has NO Ethanol in it and will NOT clog the little hole. All other parts were’Brand New’ as per the service professional, and without any other issues. There is one can of True Fuel in the tank right now.
